Volunteers

Attention Families, Groups, Students and Organizations!

Be a part of the inaugural Provo City Half Marathon & Relay race by volunteering together! Run13 will make arrangements for large or small groups that want to volunteer together. Please contact Run 13 via email and a representative will contact you.

Volunteer Categories

Medical volunteers- We are in need of medical volunteers to provide first aid assistance to runners along the course and at the finish-line medic tent. We encourage volunteers to be CPR and/or First Aid Certified. The medic tent staff generally includes one doctor (primary care physician), one EMT and one PT/ATC physician.

General Volunteers - We are looking for volunteers with a positive attitude who want to be a part of something fun and rewarding. Not only will you take part in the finish-line party, but you will also be helping to benefit people in need (take a look at the charities we support). Volunteers will help direct runners, assist with race logistics, and create an energetic environment.

We will be holding a short volunteer meeting on Tuesday, April 1st, at 6:00 p.m. at the Park Ridge Clubhouse. The address is 1787 West 1010 North, Provo.  (It is in a townhouse community just off 820 N. in Provo).  At the meeting we will be giving out and explaining the volunteer assignments.  Plus, what would any meeting be if we didn't have some sort of refreshments, right?  While this meeting will be short, it is very important. We will be scrambling around enough the morning of the race so, the more we can get organized at this meeting, the easier your/our job will be. Thanks so much again and I look forward to seeing you there. Call me if you have any questions, concerns, ideas, etc.

P.S.  We are still looking for more volunteers so if you have any family, friends, roommates, co-workers, please bring them too.
