COVID-19 Updates

Due to COVID-19 and the government’s restrictions of mass gatherings/events, we are deeply saddened that the 2020 Hobbler Half Marathon must be postponed to July 10th, 2021.

We are devastated by this situation (for a myriad of reasons) as we have already spent several months and dollars getting ready for our originally scheduled events. We want to thank all of the local officials and authorities that are continuing to work closely with us and have been understanding of our requests to try and delay this postponement for as long as possible. Also thank you, to our Run13 Family, for your patience as we continue to navigate during this historic time.

For our Hobbler Half Marathon registrants, although we do not offer refunds, all participants will be able to choose between the following options: 

Option 1 – Automatic Deferment

All current registrants will be automatically deferred to the 2021 Hobbler Half Marathon – 5k – Kids Marathon event on July 10th, 2021. If this is the option for you, it’s automatically taken care of and you don’t need to do a thing. Your registration will automatically be transferred and we’ll see you on July 10, 2021.

Option 2 – Transfer to the 2021 Provo City Half Marathon: 

For those runners that just want to run as soon as possible, all of our 2020 Hobbler Half Marathon – 5k – Kids Marathon registrants will have the chance to transfer their registration (with zero transfer fees) to our other Run13 event, the Provo City Half Marathon on May 1st, 2021.

Use the link “https://myevents.active.com/” and login using your Active.com username and password. Once you’ve reached this page, you can edit your registration whether it be to double-check that it’s correct, change categories, change events, or option #3.

Option 3 – Transfer or “Sell” your entry to another runner: 

If the first two options just absolutely don’t work for you, you may transfer or “sell” your entry to another runner. To transfer your registration to someone else, use “https://myevents.active.com/” for that as well. (transfer fees will be waived due to circumstances).

On a personal note, thank you for the emails, calls, and messages of love, support, and empathy from so many of you in the running community who know how hard this has been for us and the impact this will have on our family. We at Run13 know how difficult these changes can be and are devastated by this outcome and share in your anxieties, frustrations, and sadness. Our hearts and thoughts are with all of our athletes and partners, past and present, and their families during this difficult time. We remain hopeful that we’ll get to see you all at a Run13.com start-line soon!
