Volunteer Categories
Registration
Assist with registration either at packet pick-up the day before the race or on race day.
Packet and Race Shirt Pick-up
Hand out packets and race shirts to runners at packet pick-up the day before the race or on race day.
Traffic Control
Direct runners and traffic on and around the race course as the race takes place.
Water Stations
Man a water station along the race course and hand water and Gatorade to runners.
Aid Stations
Assess and monitor runners experiencing medical problems in your assigned area along the race course.
(*First Aid training required)
Chip Collector
Collect timing chips from runners as they cross the finish line.
Course Tear Down
Assist in cleaning up water stations and removing barricades and signage along the race course.
Compound Clean up
Assist in cleaning up the start/finish line area by putting away canopies, tables, chairs, equipment, removing garbage, etc.
We typically hold a short volunteer meeting prior to our races to familiarize everyone with what will be going on race morning. And of course, what would a meeting be without refreshments, right? We look forward to having you volunteer at one or all of our upcoming races.
